 At a very young age of 10, I lost my father to a sudden heart attack. My mom then became our family's strength. She led us through all of life's challenges. Recently, we lost her after she went into cardiac arrest. Within a month, we lost my brother-in-law, who passed away  due to massive heart failure. 

Prevention of Heart disease  

According to CDC report published in June 2020 over 80% of cardiovascular diseases, including heart attacks and stroke, are preventable. 

Heart disease is the leading cause of death for men and women in the United States.  One person dies every 37 seconds in the United States from cardiovascular disease. 

Increase awareness in our community to promote active lifestyle. Our focused activities include community awareness; provider education; early detection screenings; increasing access to care and resources to prevent premature disability and death from heart disease.
